Welcome to my latest passion project! This past month I've been working on completing The Purpose Odyssey's website on my own, and I'd say its been going pretty well! I've had no previous experience in website building, nor logo design, but I quickly fell in love with the creativity it allowed me to express. As someone who never identified as an "artistic" individual, I realized that it may just be my hands who are not the most artistic, while my mind holds more visions than I gave credit for. Granted, I can't say I didn't run into challenges - trust me I did (cue the numerous spelling mistakes friends and family pointed out daily). I can say however, that the time spent on this was well worth it and enjoyable.
If you know me, you may be familiar with my past chronic procrastination - well it turns out, if you're actually passionate about the project, that goes away! I woke up everyday thinking about this, having new ideas, going to work, and then coming back returning once again to the website until I went to sleep. I've never, in my life, found working to be so easy and fulfilling.
So to my point, if you have something in your head that you THINK you may want to try but keep pushing it off because you have no previous experience, please just start that passion project and give it a go. Trust that little voice in your head, I ignored it for far to long simply due to the road block my anxiety put in front of me. No experience is necessary, you will figure it out, just like you have with everything else.
As I continue on this journey running my new business with the podcast and life coaching, I'm using this mindset in everything I do. I understand there are going to be hurdles in front of me, some small, others larger than I can currently imagine, but I trust myself to figure my way above them. I invite you to adopt the same mindset, for I believe every individual would be astounded with what their brain and body are capable of, if they simply don't allow their worries to get in the way.
